MIPS® PROTECTION SYSTEM
Equipped with the Mips® protection system, the MET Shelter Mips is able to move relative to the head in the event of specific impacts, helping to dissipate potentially harmful rotational movements. The Mips Brain Protection System (BPS) is a rotation management system designed to add an extra layer of protection to the standard helmet construction and is positioned inside, between the padding and the EPS.
INTEGRATED VISOR
The visor is designed to fit perfectly with the helmet shell, enhancing its design without being longer than necessary.
EXTENDED HEAD COVERAGE
The helmet structure offers the same technology and safety as the top-of-the-range models. We have increased the coverage at the back of the head, where impact protection is most important.
VENTILATION
The Shelter Mips has 12 vents and an engineered interior to maximise ventilation thanks to specific channelling. Air intakes and exhaust holes create a constant, pleasant flow of fresh air. The front features two side vents that act as a safe and stable storage location for sunglasses.
ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
The Shelter Mips combines comfort and protection thanks to the MET Safe-T Sport adjustment system and the 360° ring that guarantees a secure and customised fit.
