We truly committed to creating the warmest overshoes ever, to do this we had to rethink how overshoes are made. For wind protection, we chose the lightly brushed GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric, which also allows more moisture to escape than any other windproof fabric. Then we added a second soft layer of Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro™, which is unrivaled in softness and thermal insulation. Because the two layers are quite thick, we had to reduce the forefoot to a single layer to prevent the fabric from being damaged by rubbing against the crank. We made these overshoes taller to be even warmer and also gave them good protection from water splashes kicked up by the wheel. We recommend our Venti Soft socks for even more warmth.
