LOOP - Improve your tubeless performance

It is always exciting to introduce innovative products, even more so when they come from our homeland. Today we present LOOP by Switch Components, a Venetian company specializing in MTB components. LOOP is a tubeless tire insert capable of increasing rider performance and protecting your MTB in any condition.

The development of LOOP was a long process during which the Switch engineers collaborated with professional athletes such as Simone Medici, an athlete of the Italian DH team, and two-time XCM world champion Leonardo Paez. It was tested in the laboratory and challenged in some of the most important international competitions.

The uniqueness of LOOP is the double density foam, a new closed microcell technology. It is composed of two elements: a denser internal "bumper" called "core", and a "dumper" that wraps it extremely elastic called "skin". This duality improves the quality of the ride and naturally absorbs powerful impacts without damaging the rim, drastically reducing the possibility of pinching the tire and the tubeless bead breaking.

Specifically, the core has the task of giving greater support to the tire and absorbing the toughest impacts; while the skin, thanks to the exceptional elasticity, decreases the hysteresis of the wheel, eliminating the dispersion of energy.

The combined action of the two parts and the low total weight make it suitable for any terrain, but to meet the needs of the various disciplines, LOOP is available in two versions: light and strong. The light version weighs 68g and is designed for use in XCO, XCM, and AM. On the other hand, the Strong weighs 110g and is recommended for Enduro, Downhill, and e-bikes.
It is designed to be used at 360 ° even with low pressures, giving more control in the most aggressive trails and the most demanding climbs.

LOOP is versatile, compatible with all tubeless rims from 23 to 35mm, does not require dedicated valves, and can be used with any sealing liquid.
During assembly, the internal joint is secured with a velcro band and an adhesive band, both included in the package.
