UPDATED INFORMATION
Unfortunately, you must stop using the affected bicycles, without exceptions and with immediate effect, until the fork has been inspected and all affected forks have been replaced!
The analysis of a small number of reported cases of crack formation above the brake mount of our Agree C:62 carbon fork has shown that a change in the resin starting from model year 2025 may result in some forks having too little resin in the affected area.
In rare cases, this may cause the fork to no longer meet CUBE's defined safety and quality standards under high braking loads. Under these conditions, delamination may occur, meaning the separation of the outer carbon layers, which can lead to crack formation and significant structural weakening of the fork and even breakage of the left fork leg.
The described product defect increases the risk of accidents, which may cause property damage, serious injury, or even fatal injury.
For safety reasons, every affected fork must be inspected and, if necessary, replaced. Inspection and replacement are carried out exclusively by an authorized CUBE dealer.
HOW TO PROCEED
If the bicycle or fork is affected, the replacement and the entire process must be carried out by an authorized CUBE dealer.
- Stop using the bicycle Stop using the bicycle until it has been inspected to avoid possible risks.
- Check the frame number Use the tool on this page to verify whether your bicycle is affected.
- Contact the dealer The dealer can verify whether the fork is affected. Contact the dealer where you purchased the bicycle or, alternatively, another authorized CUBE dealer in your area. You can use our dealer search to find nearby retailers.
- Processing and replacement at the specialist dealer The CUBE dealer will carry out a complete inspection and replace the fork on site.
VERIFICATION
You can use the bicycle’s frame number (WOW number) to check whether it is affected by the recall. The fork serial number is required to verify whether the fork must be replaced.
Note: The serial number of the affected carbon fork is located inside the steerer tube and is accessible only when the headset is disassembled. This work must be performed only by a specialist: please contact an authorized CUBE dealer for verification.
