Towbar bike racks are practical and roomy. The loading and unloading of the bikes are convenient and allows the trunk to be opened thanks to the possibility of tilting it up to 80 °. The second type, the roof-mounted bike racks, are light, compact, and City Crash certified. They must be mounted on the roof bars of the car and fixing the bike does not require the use of tools. The Giro AF+ model is equipped with an arm that automatically supports the bike while it is positioned on the rails, while Giro Speed is designed to fix the fork of the bike directly to the front attachment.
The model that stands out is the Genio Pro with which Atera has gone further, creating a versatile trailer bike carrier. It carries two bikes of any type and like the other models, it can be expanded with an additional rail. Its peculiarity is to be foldable allowing to protect the lights and above all to save space.
