The XLC Link CC-X07 chain lock was designed for 10-speed bicycles, meaning it is the chain lock for you if your bicycle has ten sprockets on the cassette in the center of the rear wheel. The two parts of this component are attached to the two ends of the chain and simply snap into place. The same process in reverse allows you to easily disconnect the chain without having to remove the pins. It is also an excellent emergency solution if the chain breaks during a ride.
