With Maxima, Trickstuff successfully continues the series of its flagship brakes. Compared to the Direttissima model it has been improved again. The result is a brake that requires little effort in terms of braking power and stability even on long, hard and difficult descents. The 4-piston brake caliper has been completely redesigned with larger pistons and a revised design. In order to transfer the increased braking force, the kinematics of the levers have been optimized for better modulation. The brake levers have been equipped with an increased reserve tank, with 4 ball bearings and Teflon seals, which make operation even easier. Maxima features pressure-resistant carbon-look steel hoses and Goodridge connections, which are particularly light (17 grams per meter). In addition to the hoses, the hollow milled brake pistons and the openings on the brake levers also reduce the weight to just 315 grams (weight referred to the front brake, with 90cm hose without disc and adapter).
