Yaw™
Yaw technology allows for trim-free shifting, as the derailleur cage describes an arc and is therefore at a constant angle to the chain. As a result, transitions are more direct and precise, providing unprecedented front shifting performance.
DoubleTap®
With DoubleTap® you can shift more easily and faster because it eliminates that awkward and unnatural movement required by two-lever systems. DoubleTap allows you to shift with a simple up and down motion. Minimum effort and maximum comfort, regardless of the position of your hands on the handlebars.
DoubleTap® uses two pins: one to hold the spool and one to move it down and up during gear changes. The pins are arranged so that they can jump over each other depending on how far and with how much pressure you press the shift lever.
With a short, quick tap, the transport pin (04) moves the spool (02) upward through the gear range. For a lower gear, the lever is moved a greater distance (in the same direction as when shifting up, but at the ergonomically maximum angle of 15º). In the process, the locking pin (03) and the transport pin quickly and cleanly override each other.
Position, position, position: the DoubleTap levers (05) move in only one direction and work flawlessly, regardless of where you shift. Thanks to the mounting of two joints (01), which are completely independent of the brake joint, the lever can be operated from all positions on the handlebar.
What sets DoubleTap apart from similar systems, however, is the fact that the shift lever can also be pulled towards the handlebar, allowing you to shift to a higher gear during a sprint or attack without having to loosen your grip.
In DoubleTap® shifts, the shift lever is mounted completely independently of the brake lever. This not only allows the multi-position function, but also eliminates the risk of accidentally operating the brake or shift lever – a significant disadvantage of combined levers.
Zero Loss
ZeroLoss stands for “zero loss”. When you press the shift lever to shift up or down, the cable is released immediately, ensuring zero loss of movement. No more dead time waiting for the gear to engage. The gear is shifted immediately and precisely.
ErgoDynamics™
Thanks to the increased length, grip width adjustment, and optimized shape, the levers are comfortable and easy to reach, and therefore suitable for cyclists of different sizes.
Reach Adjust™
Reach Adjust™, for a perfect adaptation of the grip width to personal anatomy.
Connectamajig
Thanks to Connectamajig, routing the hydraulic hose during seatpost installation is a breeze. Don't be afraid of hydraulic hoses: press and twist once. Easy, right? With Connectamajig, the hose can be disconnected and reconnected several times before bleeding is necessary.
