The reliable design of our FR-5.2 press-fit tool features an additional 12mm guide pin to stabilize the tool when used with through-axle hubs. The FR-5.2GT is designed to fit the most common tool configuration found on 7- to 12-speed cassette lockrings, including models made by Shimano®, SRAM®, and others. It also fits disc brake lockrings and press-fit adapters with 12 internal splines. The thin-wall construction allows use without removing cones and lock nuts. The 1'' hex base can be used with a socket, wrench, or bench vise. Heat-treated, bonded tool steel construction for long service life.
