The wheelset preferred by the sprinters of Team Intermarché-Wanty: the combination of a 60 mm deep front wheel and a 66 mm rear rim offers the best possible compromise between crosswind stability and low air resistance. The hooked rim with a 22 mm internal width guarantees optimal aerodynamics up to 30 mm wide tires. The 32 mm external width lays the foundation for a stiff aerodynamic wheel and maximum speeds in sprints. To reduce air turbulence, we also rely on the aerodynamic valve integrated into the Streem VONOA, which disappears completely into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics and a cleaner look. In addition, the Streem Sprint VONOA wheelset is one of the fastest aerodynamic wheels in the 60 mm class, as demonstrated by our measurements in the GST wind tunnel in Immenstaad. This makes it the first choice for flat terrain. The aerodynamic wheelset reduces drag better than many competitors, especially above and below a 10-degree angle of attack. In addition, the VONOA carbon spokes make it one of the lightest models in its category at 1355 grams.
