Closely spaced ramp knobs on the center promote rolling efficiency on hardpack terrain, while spaced knobs on the shoulders provide predictable cornering grip on various surfaces.

New HYPR-X Compound
HYPR-X is the result of developing Maxxis rubber compounds, combining the best of road HYPR and MTB MaxxSpeed. Compared to the previous dual compound, HYPR-X reduces rolling resistance by 25%* and improves cornering grip by 19%.

Not all nylon is the same
A seemingly small but important change is the use of a new material for the
120 TPI casing. The new, stronger nylon significantly improves puncture protection in the tread area, without compromising ride feel or adding weight.
All specifications feature our legendary EXO sidewall protection against cuts and abrasions. And of course, all versions are tubeless ready.
