The current FLOAT X2 model retains the unparalleled 4-way adjustability of its predecessors, but now features an innovative Monotube design. New suspension. New damping. Same name. 4-Way Monotube. Thanks to their less complicated design, monotube shocks are much more robust. However, integrating 4-way adjustment presented a challenge. The result is an innovation that offers adjustment options for Compression and Rebound (Low-Speed and High-Speed respectively) and a pressure equalization function that improves sensitivity and support.
Close The Performance Gap. The combination of an oversized air chamber and a low-friction seal package ensures a linear, planted ride feel without unnecessarily increasing the shock's weight – just as Gravity riders desire. To allow for precise spring rate tuning, the air volume can be precisely adjusted in 1 cm³ increments using volume spacers.
Built For The World’s Fastest Riders. With a half-inch diameter, the shock shaft increases both strength and resistance, while the pressure equalization architecture offers a wider range. The result is greater support without adding harshness.
