The FOX FLOAT SL shock combines a lightweight structure with efficiency suited for Cross Country. The completely revised compression and rebound valves ensure not only better traction, but also a ride feel that is unmatched in this category. As a representative of the Performance series, the FLOAT rear shock features a black anodized finish on the air can and body, instead of the gold Kashima coating found on Factory models.

Featherweight Performance. A wider range of adjustment options in the class of particularly lightweight MTB shocks. The FLOAT SL accomplishes this mission by adopting the internal operation of its FLOAT and FLOAT X siblings, but eliminating every superfluous gram. Technically, the rider has three adjustment options (Open, Medium, and Firm) that can be controlled via an integrated lever to maximize pedaling power transfer efficiency.
Optimized to Race. Whether it's an XCO World Cup course or an all-day marathon, this lightweight rear shock helps performance-oriented riders realize their full potential. To maximize damping efficiency, the FLOAT SL combines the proven EVOL air suspension with a form factor suitable for a wide range of Cross Country and Trail bikes.
