CYCLUS TOOLS Tap and die for internal M24x1 threading on crank arm, for creating a new internal M24x1 thread. Indispensable requirement: an ''old'' M24 tapping center hole. Otherwise, the tool or crank arm may suffer permanent damage.
It is possible to create a tapping center hole by milling an internal M22x1 thread with the CYCLUS TOOLS cutter (art. 720235). When assembling or disassembling crank arms, it is highly recommended to re-tap the threads.
To achieve the best possible result with the cutter, it is recommended to use the correct/appropriate guide. Ensure to use the proper cutting oil during milling or tapping operations.
