Tool for measuring chain wear and determining when it needs to be replaced. Regularly checking chain wear (stretch) and replacing it promptly prevents premature wear of other more expensive drivetrain components, such as cassette sprockets, chainrings, and rear derailleur pulleys.

Instructions for use:

• Place the two short pins (guides) onto a chain link


• The long pin on the opposite side slides into the link plate


• If the long pin falls completely into the link plate, the chain must be replaced

Suitable for measuring wear on bicycle chains (including 12-speed ones).
