The central BSA movement, or English threaded, is a traditional bottom bracket measurement. It has an internal diameter of 34 mm and is 68 mm wide. These cups thread into the BSA bottom bracket, enabling the installation of cranks with 24/22 mm SRAM and Quarq spindles. The CeramicSpeed kit comes with bearings pre-installed in threaded cups, which are then screwed into the frame. These bearings are composed of either Standard or Coated CeramicSpeed Bearings. In both, super-smooth and super-round CeramicSpeed balls rotate on hardened steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating applied to the races, making them even smoother and harder, resulting in longer life and lower friction.
