In reality, the Aria jacket is very different from your old, flapping jacket that neither protects you nor lets air through. This jacket is an incredibly lightweight layer that blocks the wind in front of you, while allowing ample breathability thanks to the mesh side panels. But what you'll truly appreciate is how we used elasticated panels on the back of the sleeves to make this jacket fit like a second skin: no flapping fabric, no cool air circulating inside the jacket, it will no longer feel like a return to the Armstrong era.
This jacket is light and warm enough to be worn for the entire ride in mild conditions, but if you want to take it off, it fits perfectly into a back side pocket and takes up minimal space in your back pocket or your saddlebag.
