Important instructions for PowerMore 250!

Retrofit requirements:
The eBike software must be prepared by the bicycle manufacturer ("PowerMore Ready"). Furthermore, the necessary hardware is also defined, e.g. Reinforced thread inserts to comply with Bosch eBike Systems safety standards. You can check whether the conditions for retrofitting the PowerMore 250 are met via DiagnosticTool 3, the display or the Flow app.
The charging socket must be compatible with the PowerMore 250 (all charging sockets from MY23).
All eBike components require the latest software version.

Note on use:
Depending on the riding situation, the maximum power of the drive unit may be slightly reduced when the PowerMore 250 is used alone. For greater autonomy and to exploit all the power of the drive unit, combine the PowerMore 250 with another battery.

COMPATIBILITY OF THE POWERMORE 250 WITH VARIOUS ELECTRIC BIKES
The ability to equip your e-bike -bike with the Smart System Range Extender depends on several factors. In principle all bikes with Smart System are compatible. To ensure communication between the PowerMore 250 and your bicycle, your system must have the latest software installed. You can install this software via the Bosch eBike Flow app. Additionally, your e-bike manufacturer must have enabled the Range Extender option. If not, contact a nearby Bosch specialist workshop to enable the option, if possible. However, this is only feasible if your e-bike also has the necessary and stable attachments. For this it is best to contact the manufacturer of your e-bike directly.

INSTALLATION OF THE BOSCH POWERMORE 250

Connecting the additional battery is as simple as riding an electric bicycle itself. First, attach the PowerMore battery holder to the bottle holder mount. This mount stays permanently on your bike and can hold your additional battery or specialized bottle holder. If you want to use the PowerMore battery, just insert it into the holder and connect the battery to the charging port. The appropriate PowerMore connection cable is not included in the scope of delivery. You have the option to choose between different cable lengths and outlets based on where you intend to place your PowerMore 250.
