Extreme Racing Shox is one of the main Italian companies in the engineering sector of cushioning and motion control systems for motorsport, automotive OEM, motorcycles, mountain bikes, the biomedical and seismic sectors, both with systems active and passive. The know-how acquired since the early 1980s has been transferred into high-performance products currently used in top-level competitions such as WRC, F1, off-road, motocross and MTB. Attention to detail, research and development and the constant improvement of performance are the foundations on which EXT operates as a world leader in the industry.

Since its founding in 2011, EXT has grown steadily year after year. year. Today, EXT has a team of 35 highly qualified employees who work with passion and determination. Technical Director, Franco Fratton, is one of the world's most experienced suspension engineers, credited with introducing numerous technical innovations in racing shock solutions since 1985. He began his career in the 1970s as an R&D engineer at Fox Shocks Racing, where he contributed to a new era in racing shock absorber technologies and knowledge. In 1985, he collaborated with Ferrari F1 as a shock absorber consultant, introducing the first 3-way adjustable shock absorbers. From the 1990s through the 2010s, he worked with some of the most prestigious companies in the world, developing many of the technologies widely used today. Since joining EXT in 2011, Franco has maintained a strong focus on research and development as a key principle, allowing the company to establish itself as the undisputed leader in shock absorber innovation.
