The X-SYNC 2 ™ Eagle crown is radically new. SRAM engineers studied the performance and wear of thousands of X-SYNC crowns. Crowns of all sizes exposed to all possible loads, both in the test laboratory and in the field. The goal was a crown that would increase the Eagle group's performance in all operating conditions.
The result: the crown teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade, so that they can be perfectly tightened in the Eagle chain. The new chainring increases the tension and efficiency of the chain while pedaling. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.
