The point of contact near the handle minimizes unwanted twists and guarantees a much more direct and sensitive braking feeling. But it is inside that the real innovations are found: the rotation point of the lever is closer to the handlebar, so the movement follows the natural arch of the finger better. Together with the inclined lever of 5 ° upwards, a much more comfortable ergonomic position is obtained. Obviously it is always possible to adjust the width of the handle without tools, thanks to a practical wheel. The sealing system has been updated and can only be used with low viscosity mineral oil (LV). The advantage? High performance in all temperature bands, ideal also for long descents, and stable pressure points. In addition, the reactivity between the various components is decidedly improved. The hydraulic tube SM-BH90 is still a guarantee: flexible to follow tight curves, but rigid enough to transmit every braking command without dispersion. The updated brake pads also reduce noise on disconnected land.
