Thanks to the Updated Wave technology, very little manual force is still required and the handle width can be adjusted individually without tools via a wheel. The brake system holding system has also been modified and can only be filled with LV (low viscosity) mineral oil. The advantage is the greatest power of the brakes practically in all temperature intervals, which means that it is possible to face even the longer descents in a relaxed way and the fluctuations of the pressure point are a memory of the past. In addition, the mutual response of the individual components is significantly accelerated.
For connection to the brake caliper, the tested hydraulic tube Sm-BH90 is used. It is flexible enough to face even the closest rays, but it also transmits all the deceleration commands without losses. The power of the brake caliper is not visible from the outside. Its filigranated appearance integrates perfectly with any frame, yet the 4 pistons brake without mercilessly and guarantee a safe braking in any driving situation. The revisited brake pads guarantee silence to the system and prevent annoying noises even on disconnected roads. Thanks to the cooling fins, the design of the pliers and to the high quality aluminum, they guarantee rapid dissipation of heat in case of continuous use.
