The SHIMANO RX880 carbon wheel is 64 grams lighter (per pair) than previous models and features the same low 32mm rim height for quicker acceleration and increased climbing speed. The low profile also ensures better control in crosswinds, and this tubeless wheel has a modern 25mm wide inner rim suitable for tires up to 50mm wide. Taking inspiration from DURA-ACE wheels, the RX880 is equipped with a DIRECT ENGAGEMENT rear hub, for greater transmission rigidity.
