Park Tool RC-1 is used to prepare non-threaded parts such as bottom bracket cups, sealed bearings and other press fit components. RC-1 expands and hardens as it cures, filling gaps and ensuring a secure installation.

NOTICE: When using mounting paste or threadlocker on carbon fiber frames or components, you must first apply an adhesive primer such as Park Tool AP-1 to all surfaces of the components, fasteners, and frame. Otherwise, the parts may stick together permanently.
CAUTION: Some painted surfaces may be sensitive to threadlockers, retention compounds and primers. Test on an inconspicuous area first to see if it causes a stain or discoloration. Immediately remove any excess from painted surfaces.
