The adapter (set of 2 for one mount) helps adjust the mounting angle of the fork stack mount on the front forks (45 degree base becomes 30 degrees) to avoid contact of the bags with the wheel or spokes. By mounting the two corner elements, the distance between the fork stack and the front wheel can be increased, which minimizes the risk of spoke contact if the mounting base is in an unfavorable position on the fork.
