What is NTA 8776?
One of the safest helmets around, the Intercity is NTA 8776 certified, the world's first safety certification specific for e-bike helmets. This new standard goes beyond previous norms; the MET Intercity shell is certified for higher speed impacts and is able to dissipate significantly more impact energy than a traditional helmet. Furthermore, an NTA certified shell has 10% more tested surface area, covering the two most sensitive brain areas: the occipital lobe and the temples.
Protective Visor
With a wide, adjustable visor to protect from wind, dust, and insects, it has never been so easy for urban cyclists to reach their destinations without worries. The protective polycarbonate visor is EN-166 safety certified; it is wide enough to be compatible with prescription glasses and can be quickly raised when not needed.
Light Up the Night
The MET Magnetic USB LED Light is fixed on the top rear of the helmet to ensure the highest level of visibility even when wearing a backpack. A magnetic system provides simple and secure attachment to the helmet shell and facilitates light removal and battery recharging via a Micro-USB port.
COMFORT
The MET Intercity Mips is exceptionally stable and comfortable on the head thanks to an internal fit finely engineered to accommodate heads of various shapes. The MET Safe-T Heta adjustment system offers full customization via a 360° dial and multiple vertical positions. The straps are well-positioned and the divider is adjustable, a small detail of great importance for comfort and safety.

MIPS® PROTECTION SYSTEM
The MET Intercity Mips is equipped with the MIPS-C2® protection system which helps dissipate rotational forces caused by specific impacts, completing the helmet's safety in all aspects. The MIPS® system is attached inside the shell via elastomers that guarantee 10-15mm of slippage in all directions, a movement that facilitates the absorption of rotational forces harmful to the brain.
