MIPS BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM
MIPS is a brain protection system designed to increase the safety of standard helmet construction by at least 10% - in the event of certain impacts.
REAR DEFLECTORS
The back of a helmet has a major impact on its ventilation, as it allows hot air to escape from the inside. The MET Trenta Mips, with its 25° angled rear deflectors, forms two large vents that optimise airflow and offer maximum ventilation, even during the hardest climbs.
NACA VENT
Originally developed by NACA (which later became NASA), the front position of the vent generates an active cooling effect.

TUBULAR TAIL
The tubular tail is designed with aerodynamic criteria: it works in synergy with the NACA vent and the rear deflector to channel the airflow. It has a lower profile at the rear that we developed through specific wind tunnel tests at the NEWTON lab in Milan.
