Reaver is the brand new Maxxis tire designed for Gravel competitions. The low profile tread design uses diamond knurling to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip in dusty or slippery environments. Spatula caps in sets of three provide extra grip during hard braking. The side blocks are spaced from each other and staggered to ensure continuity when cornering. There is a groove between the side knobs to allow them to flex and conform to the ground, improving traction. Reaver is ideal for riders as it is faster, lighter and even more durable than Rambler. In mixed conditions Rambler is more versatile, but if offroad speed is your number one priority, Reaver is the best choice.
