The Re-Fuse has been a staple of the Maxxis Road range for two decades, standing out for its extreme tread life, now in its second generation. The new Re-Fuse sports a revamped tread pattern and new rubber compound, along with improved puncture protection, creating a faster, lighter and even more durable clincher than before. It is once again proposed as the first choice for its resistance, but guaranteeing a sportier ride. Resistant does not mean slow! A smooth center with micro-knobs for curves replaces the full diamond knurling of the previous generation. The new tread design is supported by a new full-silica rubber compound which drastically reduces rolling resistance, also improving grip in wet conditions and making the Re-Fuse ideal for year-round use.
