While the original Forekaster has been designed as an XC option in wet conditions, the new version turns exactly to modern low excursion trail bikes (100 mm-130 mm), or for the "Downcountry" segment. The new Forekaster flows fast, but also provides a solid traction in curve and in the braking in a wide range of track conditions. It is part of the MTB MAXXIS range among our XC options, which give priority to rolling speed (Aspen, Rekon Race, Ikon, Rekon) and our treads designed for Gravity (Dissector, Minion DHF, Mini DHR, SERSEGAI), which emphasize the traction when curved and braking.
