Drawing on over 30 years of manufacturing, Hope Pro 5 combines all its experience to meet and exceed the needs of riders. The Pro 4 has proven to be one of the most reliable and versatile hubs on the market. Hope Pro 5 builds on this with improvements throughout, offering the right balance of speed, load capacity, durability and strength.

One of the key design goals for the Pro 5 hub is to reduce resistance in the drive mechanism. This has big advantages in driving, achieved thanks to a new zero resistance seal and an improved ratchet and pawl system, with new springs. Both significantly reduce drag and increase durability and load capacity compared to the Pro 4.

Another big update on the rear hubs involves increasing the engagement points (from 44 to 108) using a of the 6-pawl free hub. The right balance between acceleration speed, load capacity, strength and durability and, in real terms, offers a sensation of speed while maintaining the movement of the crank arm at an acceptable level without compromising the freedom of movement of the hub and its reliability.
