32 Step-Cast – Made for Marathon
40% stiffer, more precise, and incomparably light. This is the FOX 32 Step-Cast fork. At less than 1300 grams, it is not only one of the lightest MTB models but also predestined for use in marathon races.
The reduced weight and increased stiffness are due to the intelligent interaction of numerous factors, such as the thin, rearward-facing Reverse arch and the revised fork crown. As a representative of the Factory series, this fork with the proven FLOAT air suspension is, of course, feature-rich. From a technical standpoint, the high-performance GRIP SL damper particularly stands out, offering an indescribable riding experience and effectively combating fatigue. With its smooth and extremely durable Kashima coating, the 32 Step-Cast is also convincing aesthetically.

GRIP SL Climb Faster. Descend Harder. Recover Quicker. This lightweight, short-travel damper not only convinces in terms of weight savings but also offers a riding feel second to none. Particular attention was paid to preventing fatigue. On one hand, this is due to the fluid response combined with optimized, bob-free pedaling efficiency. On the other hand, the intelligent Blowoff function available in Lockout mode absorbs unexpected impacts. Ideal for Cross Country (XC, XCO, XCC).
Redesigned Crown The Zero-Offset fork crown made from 7000-series aluminum is designed for angled stanchions, eliminating the need to create pre-curvature using additional material. This not only increases stiffness but, in combination with the ultralight steerer tube, allows for a weight reduction of 20 grams compared to the previous model.
Rear Arch Matrix The construction with a rearward-facing fork arch offers 40% more stiffness. At the same time, the appealing Arch Matrix design reduces weight.
Kabolt SL Compared to the traditional Kabolt thru-axle, the Super Light version saves an additional 12 grams. This weight reduction is made possible not only by reducing the flange diameter but also by eliminating the axle nut.
