The ERA V2.1 fork uses our HS3 hybrid air spring. Two positive bladders work with a high-volume, self-activating negative bladder. Combined with a high-volume damper cartridge, this system offers incredible adjustability and establishes a new level of support in a suspension fork. The Era V2.1 introduces features and updates that aim to improve the experience, security and performance of the previous production.
At its essence, Era V2.1 has the same configuration that made Era famous and appreciated: HS3 system, creak-free crown, great mid-stroke support, excellent stiffness and performance. The Era fork has a magnesium bottom design that makes it lighter and load-optimized and is made possible by a specific manufacturing process called Thixomolding. Other improvements are aimed at increasing sensitivity, smoothness, lubricity and safety, such as the improved limit switches for the HS3 system, the rubber and titanium plate that reduces noise in the ++ chamber or the new DU design that ensures better lubrication. HS3 focuses on mid-stroke support around the dynamic sag position, while offering amazing sensitivity and bottom-out protection. The air spring is complemented by an integrated coil spring to create a frictionless sliding motion and a highly responsive fork that offers the best grip on the front tire.
We looked at everything that needed a low-friction solution to improve smoothness and sensitivity, and this has led us to our motorsport heritage: developed in the World Rally Championship, our new DU bushing material, used in the magnesium Lower, is sized with defined tolerances for each fork assembly and works in harmony with our dedicated EXT oil, and guarantees zero friction and very low friction properties even in combination with high lateral loads. ERA V2.1 adopts an innovative internal floating shaft guide in the damper cartridge, which uses a Superfinish shaft, bringing friction to the lowest possible level. The high-volume EXT cartridge uses a high-flow piston to generate control of his motorbike. ERA V2 .1 is an upgrade in the performance of your bike and your ride. Like all EXT products, ERA V2.1 offers a fully adjustable fork with a usable damping range for every rider and riding style.

Listening to comments and suggestions from our riders, we have developed a new kit for the HS3 which is retrofittable to all V1/V2 models! The system increases the volume of the Negative Chamber, as well as the + Chamber, with the task of making the Era even more sensitive on small bumps, but also even softer during the main part of the excursion, to obtain greater comfort, thanks also to the new 53/50 specification.
New DU guide bushes
All 2023 forks now have a new update to the lower DU guide bushes, also available for all existing forks!The new design and new material DU have proven to be a very important improvement for sliding quality, maintaining tolerances and low surface roughness with a very long lifespan, more than 500,000 cycles, which in the automotive standard is considered "lifetime", with maintenance increasing at more than 100 hours.
