When motor assistance meets human muscle power, the range of terrain a bicycle can conquer also expands. The H 1900 SPLINE wheels were specifically designed to meet the durability requirements of electric bikes. Instead of altering the proven rim profiles, additional material was added to the DT Swiss Hybrid models precisely where it is most needed. These parts were reinforced at the points of highest load, so the aluminum rims can not only withstand higher speeds but also support a system weight of up to 150 kg. To offer every cyclist the best possible grip and optimal traction, the H 1900 wheels are also available with two different internal widths. The combination of the proven 370 hub and the reinforced Hybrid 1 spokes, which increase lateral and torsional stiffness, also enhances wheel durability. To handle the higher loads of electric MTBs, the rear wheel has been equipped with a specially hardened steel cassette body and the Ratchet LN freehub system for a more diversified power distribution.
