With the DT Swiss tubeless sealant, the Swiss wheel specialists complete their tubeless kit. Unlike many other manufacturers, DT Swiss goes a step further and offers specific versions for road and MTB use. The high pressure version (road) develops its optimal sealing effect at pressures from 4 to 7.5 bar. Thanks to thicker sealing particles than conventional sealants, DT Swiss high-pressure sealant can immediately seal cuts up to 3 millimeters in size. For optimal operation, DT Swiss recommends filling a road bike tire with a width of 23-35 millimeters with 60 milliliters of sealant milk. As well as being used in tubeless tyres, it can also be used as a puncture protection for inner tubes and tubular tyres. Important for racing use: The high pressure sealant is compatible for use with CO2 pumps.
