These tires have the ECE-R 75 control brand, which also allows its use on fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h.

VECTRAN BREAKER

Vectran ™ is a high-tech fiber produced briefly with a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran ™ is a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). VECTRAN ™ is spun from the Vectra melted liquid polymer and further transformed into a multifiber yarn. Both spider silk and Vectran ™ are extremely resistant to tears and very light. Exactly the right properties to be used as an anti -forage insert into a high -end continental tire. A VECTRAN ™ Breaker is lighter, more flexible and provides more effective protection against cuts than comparable nylon. The Vectran ™ Breaker does not affect rolling resistance.
Polyx Breaker
robust and drill-resistant
with the Polyx Breaker®, Continental brings the automotive know-how to bicycle tires: the polyester was successfully used in car tires for many years and has given proof of many times. The extremely resistant polyester fiber is strictly intertwined transversely. The result is a very high density of the fabric, which makes the breaker not only resistant to foreign bodies, but also particularly resistant to drilling. Rolling resistance is not negatively influenced by the Polyx Breaker®.
