The top-of-the-range women's Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois is actually made up of two distinct components: the Skin Care Layer, a soft, elasticated layer against the skin, designed specifically to eliminate any chafing, and beneath it, the Cushioning Layer, which features two separate foam inserts with different densities, plus perforated, breathable gel inserts under the sit bones and perineum. Comfort is further ensured by the shorts' structure, with just three panels and fewer seams. We have created a new fabric that adapts to the needs of different parts of the body. The lower leg features a raw-cut edge and rubberized yarns that guarantee a flat grip to keep the leg in place. The fabric becomes lighter on the thigh, while the 4-way stretch material provides the right muscular support. In the pelvic area, compression and support increase to keep the chamois and everything else in position. On the back, the fabric is thicker to prevent any show-through. The straps are also made from this high-quality fabric. Featuring a droptail design, the elastic straps are soft and stretchy to provide the right support without restricting movement.
