We eliminated all the superfluous while still creating an accessory that works. The fabric stretches to fit your shoe and blocks wind and moisture. A silicone anti-slip on the inside of the shoe cover's top prevents water from getting in while keeping it in place, and a long zipper makes it easier to put on and take off. We also added a high-abrasion fabric to the bottom of the shoe cover. It's a streamlined shoe cover that blocks wind and moisture.
