Smart Helmets Lumos

Moving through traffic at night is almost an extreme sport. This is why we have chosen to introduce the new Lumos smart helmet, Lumos Ultra, in our catalog; an innovative solution to be more visible and protected.
The project was born in Boston, from the intuition of the economics student Eu-wen Ding. Who, tired of risking his life every time he had to travel on his bike, decided to create a solution to the problem. Together with a friend, they launch a "crowdfunding" campaign on the Kickstarter platform to realize their helmet idea. In 2017 they debuted their first model, the Lumos Kickstart Helmet, after having raised more than $ 800,000 in funds.

What has brought this new helmet to success is the integration of LED lights within the helmet. White front light and rear lights to indicate the direction in which you want to turn, controllable through a wireless control on the handlebar, or by synchronizing your Apple Watch.
The fit is guaranteed thanks to the click-dial fit system. It is also possible to access additional features thanks to the dedicated app and associate it with external apps such as Strava.
