What is Overtimepack?
Not only dual battery, Rocky Mountain presents Overtimepack, a real range extender that adds 330 Watts to the already capacious 675 Watt powerplay battery, thus obtaining 1000 Watts to be used on the trails and beyond!
Two ways of use:
The first mode consists in synergistic use with the main battery. In this case the Overtimepack drains its full 330 Wh capacity before affecting the 672 Wh battery.
However, should the driving conditions require a high amperage absorption from the engine (for example steep climbs in Ludicrous mode), the Overtimepack could reach its maximum power, the main battery needed to recharge the power. When the drive subsides, the Overtimepack will again supply 100% power to the engine. While the bike is stationary, the Overtimepack will fill up what was used for the main battery.
The second method instead consists in using the Overtimepack as a real portable powerbank / charger. The main battery, when completely discharged, is recharged up to 49/50%. all in just over two hours.
