The new Santa Cruz Vala AL brings the high-end e-bike experience to a wider audience, without compromising on quality. Designed to be the queen of all-mountain, it combines a robust aluminum frame with the same geometry and ride quality as the carbon version, the power of the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, and an integrated 600Wh battery, expandable with an optional 250Wh range extender. With 160mm of front travel and 150mm in the rear in a mullet configuration, the Vala AL is ready for any trail.
Aluminum Frame, Carbon Performance
The aluminum frame of the Vala AL is built to the same rigorous standards of strength and stiffness as the carbon version, ensuring exceptional ride quality. The geometry is optimized for all-mountain, with a 160mm front end and a 150mm rear that soaks up every bump. The mullet configuration (29” front / 27.5” rear) offers the perfect balance of agility and obstacle-clearing capability, ensuring superior handling on all types of terrain.

Vala AL 70 (available in Gloss Stormbringer Purple or Gloss Lunar Gray) elevates performance with a RockShox Zeb Base fork, a RockShox Super Deluxe Base shock, a SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type electronic drivetrain, and powerful SRAM DB8 brakes. The wheels are aluminum RSV 30 HD with Maxxis Assegai 3C MaxxGrip, EXO+ / Minion DHRII DD tires.
