New Focus Jam² and Sam² 2023

We are pleased to present the new FOCUS Jam² and SAM²!

Considered the milestones of the FOCUS electric mountain bike family, this year they are enriched with important innovations, first of all the different drive unit signed by BOSCH.
But what are the other peculiarities, in addition to the new engine?

All key dimensions are carefully considered to suit the purpose of the bike and ensure enjoyment on all trails.

By rotating the cups of the headset, you can easily adjust the angle of the head-angle of your e-MTB according to your riding preferences.

The low stand-over height improves the bike's handling on technical terrain.
Plus, the short seat tube gives you the option to choose a larger frame size if you prefer to ride longer bikes.

The JAM² Series 6 can be purchased in 3 different assemblies: the basic 6.7, the intermediate 6.8 and a top of the range assembly, 6.9.

On all models, it features a USB-C port neatly integrated into the top tube of the e-MTB.

It allows you to power your light or recharge your smartphone and GPS.

Since these full suspension bikes feature a battery with up to 750Wh, there is always enough power from your e-drive that you can use for your electronic devices.

This way, you can also extend your rides well into the night.

The battery, as in the previous models, is removable from the downtube, just unlock the buckle and open the lid to remove it.

The JAM² Series 8, Full Carbon model, also comes with 3 different assemblies:

the base model 8.8, the model 8.9 and a model 8.0.

the 8.0 model is in limited edition and mounts the now famous and sought-after Bosch CX RACE engine.

The JAM² in both the 6 and 8 series has a trail geometry with 150mm of rear travel and 160mm up front, definitely a bike that will keep you entertained.

The Focus JAM² and SAM² share cutting-edge technologies.

The battery and drive unit are seamlessly integrated into the frames, giving the bikes a slim look.

Also, the battery is placed as low in the downtube as possible.

This frame design improves the bikes center of gravity and makes e-MTBs more stable when descending.

Thanks to its long wheelbase and tight steering angle, the Focus SAM² is extremely stable even at high speeds on the roughest terrain.

However, the geometry doesn't hold you back on climbs as the steep, frame-size specific saddle angle places your body right in the center of your bike.
The kinematics of the SAM² are made for the most demanding rides: tackling rock gardens, making jumps and going at full speed on bumpy roads.

The FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design (F.O.L.D.) kinematics is the main component of this bike and is optimized for its purpose.

Allows the integrated spring shock absorber to perform at its best.

Thanks to its short seat tube and high insert depth, you can choose a bike size based on your riding preferences.
