EXT Racing Shox is extremely proud to introduce the all-new FERRO USD 36, an inverted suspension fork design with 36mm stanchions to complement our E-MX range. Heat-treated chrome moly steel stanchions (W/Superfinish surface treatment), upper legs constructed from 7000 series aluminum utilizing a 205mm travel design with a dedicated triple plate, form the core of the Ferro, developed for friction minimum and high rigidity.
- 36 mm hard chromed steel rods (heat treated 42CrMo4) with Superfinish surface treatment
- Dedicated design upper triple caliper machined from 7000 series aluminum - HS3 air spring system: with dual positive air system + 1 large negative self-balancing air chamber, providing an optimal level of support for the entire range of travel.
- Chrome-plated steel air spring rod with Superfinish surface treatment
- High-flow 3-way adjustable cartridge with independent high/low compression and rebound adjustments speed
- External air pressure release valve system on both legs to normalize the pressure with the surrounding environment. Dual hexagonal floating axle, ?20mm boost compatible for maximum torsional rigidity to the axle assembly - Radial cartridge and air spring drive system with custom aircraft seals (minimization of dynamic friction during lateral load events )
- Large piston design for best-in-class damping control and separate IFP/electrified coil-over compression valve
- No cavitation and low hysteresis
- Self-hydraulic cartridge purge
- Dedicated movable sliding DU guidance system with super long static overlap (for maximum guidance and best torsional rigidity) (CGB continuously guided bushing system to increase rigidity)
- 200 mm of travel and a shorter 45 mm offset for greater stability
