Creaking is the worst thing, so it's no wonder you see old inner tubes wrapped and zip-tied to seat posts and seat tubes. This helps keep dirt and mud off the chassis when riding in muddy conditions. I'm sure you noticed that the seat clamp was covered in mud after a ride in the wet. Willy doesn't do more, but it doesn't do less than the DIY solution with the old clamps and inner tube, but we think it's much better and doesn't cost a fortune.

Please note: The appearance of an installed Willy depends greatly on the saddle clamp you use on your bike. Willy works with most saddle clamps on the market and is very stretchy. However, there are some (unnecessarily) bulky and angular saddle clamps with long, sharp threads or screw heads, which require a lot of local stretching on certain areas of the Willy. This is why we cannot guarantee the durability of a Willy installed on one of these clamps.
