The fork seals are a fundamental protection component of the suspension system with an important impact on riding comfort and safety even in the most difficult conditions.
This new, completely redesigned seal adds to the already complete range of SKF seals available on the market for over 10 years. The changes made consist of new compounds and new shapes and geometries for both lips (the mud scraper and the oil seal).
The combination of different compounds in the mold in addition to the improved characteristics of the seal guarantee an innate smoothness on the stem while maintaining excellent protection. Furthermore, a new metal insert has been introduced coupled with an open coil sealing spring which drastically reduces the entry of contaminants.
