ASTM F1952
The ASTM F1952 standard for downhill mountain bike racing helmets is significantly more stringent than traditional bicycle helmet standards and is the only standardized test for chin bar safety. The Vanguard Core exceeds ASTM deflection limits by 40%. An ASTM certified helmet offers greater coverage and is tested at higher impact levels.
NTA 8776
The NTA 8776 is the only safety standard created for high-speed e-bikes. Being NTA certified, the Bluegrass Vanguard Core is able to dissipate significantly higher impact energy; the shell also offers greater coverage in the two areas Rotational Impact testing such as Mips and Virginia Tech Protocols.
