The technology and innovation of Shimano road from today has an extra gear: the new 12-speed DURA-ACE R9200 groupset is finally here!
Shimano engineers have designed this new drivetrain to give you the best cycling experience, whether you're racing to the finish on the Champs-Élysées or pedaling to the top of a hill in the heart of the Alps.
The experience gained in years of World Tour competitions by DURA-ACE groups and which has made them the most loved groups of professional cyclists, has been inherited from the new R9200 series, creating the perfect combination of functionality and reliability typical of Shimano products.
The new DURA-ACE R9200 series is produced exclusively in the Di2 version and is available in both disc brake and traditional brake versions. The controls feature renewed and more comfortable ergonomics. The new brake calipers with increased space between the pads and the Servo Wave system combined with the new discs ensure powerful and constant braking performance.
Crankset maintains the classic Hollowtech II technology but with a renewed design; it is available in three different combinations 50/34, 52/36 and 54/40 with cranks from 160mm up to 177.5mm.
The sprocket set has also been revised through the introduction of the Hyperglide+ body and three new ratio scales: 11-28, 11-30, 11-34. The new 12-speed sprocket sets also remain compatible with Shimano 11s bodywork.
Finally, the integration of the Bluetooth and Ant + connection systems in the rear derailleur allows connection with third-party devices, cycle computers and with the E-Tube management and personalization App via Smartphone.
